Our mission
Picking a new phone is hard. Brands throw around terms like "AI-enhanced" and "breakthrough silicon" without explaining what any of it means. We built BeastCompare to fix that — plain comparisons, real specs, and a single score that tells you which phone is actually better and why.
How BeastScore works
Every phone on BeastCompare gets a BeastScore out of 100. We calculate it across five areas:
1. Speed & Chip
The chip (ranked using public benchmark results) and how much RAM the phone has.
2. Camera Quality
Main sensor megapixels, optical image stabilisation, an ultra-wide lens, and telephoto or periscope zoom.
3. Battery & Charging
Battery size (mAh) and wired charging speed.
4. Screen & Feel
Refresh rate, panel type (LTPO OLED, OLED or LCD), peak brightness in nits, and pixel density.
5. Value
What you get for what you pay: the launch price measured against the overall score.
A phone needs to do well in all five — a great camera does not rescue a phone with a small battery. If a spec is missing, we say so instead of guessing.
Phones that are announced but not yet on sale, or only rumoured, are shown with the announced or reported specs available at the time. Those specs, and the scores built from them, may change at launch.
Editorial independence
Our comparisons and recommendations are 100% independent. We do not accept sponsored placements, paid score boosts, or manufacturer-dictated editorial coverage. When you buy through an affiliate link on our site, we may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you — which funds our research and hosting.
