Quick tips before you buy

Wh = how long it lasts

A 1,000 Wh station runs a 100 W device for about 8–9 hours after conversion losses.

W = what it can run

Add up the watts of everything you’ll plug in at once. Stay under the AC output.

Need UPS? Check ms

For CPAPs and computers, look for a switchover of 10 ms or less, like Anker and EcoFlow.

Store it charged

Keep it plugged in or top it up every few months so it is ready for an outage.

Quick answers

Which is better, Anker SOLIX or EcoFlow?+

In the 1 kWh class, the Anker SOLIX C1000 Gen 2 has more power and recharges faster. The EcoFlow DELTA 3 is better if you want more outlets or plan to add batteries later (up to 5 kWh).

Can a 1,000 Wh power station run a fridge?+

Yes, for a while. A typical fridge averages around 100–200 W, so roughly 5–9 hours, depending on the fridge and how often you open it.

Is Jackery a good brand?+

Yes. The Explorer 1000 v2 is the lightest here, has a 1-hour emergency charge mode and a long-life LiFePO4 battery. It has less output (1,500 W) than Anker or EcoFlow.

Can I use a power station as a UPS for my computer?+

Anker lists under 10 ms and EcoFlow 10 ms switchover, which works for most computers, routers and CPAP machines. Keep the station plugged into the wall so it takes over instantly.
