Black Friday 2026: Electric toothbrush deals
to buy now, wait for or skip (Oral-B and Sonicare)
Our best buy is the Philips Sonicare 7300. Black Friday is 37 days away and Amazon has not announced its dates. We checked six Oral-B and Sonicare toothbrushes on October 21 to see which are worth buying now, which to wait on and which to skip.
How we picked: we shortlist by Amazon Best Seller rank and number of ratings, then compare published specs. We don't test these products hands-on.

The short answer
When do Black Friday 2026 deals start? Black Friday is Friday, November 27, 2026, the day after Thanksgiving (Thursday, November 26), and Cyber Monday is Monday, November 30. Amazon rarely confirms its sale dates early, and we could not find an announcement for 2026. In past years its Black Friday deals started about a week before Black Friday and ran through Cyber Monday. If it repeats that pattern, early deals could land around November 20 to 23. That is a guess, not an announcement.
This page is a buying plan for electric toothbrushes sold on Amazon, written on October 21, before the main sale. Buy now: the Philips Sonicare 7300, which Amazon shows 30% off its list price in a limited-time deal, and the Sonicare 4100, which is already one of the lowest-priced Sonicares. Wait: the Oral-B iO Series 9 (24% off, but still a premium price), the Sonicare 5900 and the Oral-B iO2, which show no markdown. Skip: the Sonicare DiamondClean 9000, which costs more than the 7300 and shows no markdown.
Don’t wait if your brush head is worn out or you are buying a gift. Oral-B says to change the head about every three months, Sonicare says to change it regularly, and a fresh head matters more than a fancy handle. Don’t chase the biggest percent either. A 24% cut on a premium brush can still cost more than a 30% cut on a mid-range one. Every brush here was new and sold by Amazon.com when we checked. Prices move daily, so tap “View on Amazon” for today’s number.

Why each one made the list
What each pick does best, where it falls short, and the typical Amazon price when we checked.
- 1. Best Buy Now
Philips Sonicare 7300
BeastScore 92 / 100Typically $130–$150 on Amazon (checked October 21, 2026)The 7300 is the best deal on this page. The listing shows a 30% markdown from its list price and a limited-time deal badge, and Amazon.com sells it. For that you get three A3 Premium brush heads, a charging travel case, four modes (Clean, Sensitive, Gum Health and White) and a battery the listing rates at up to 21 days. The Sonicare app adds guided brushing. We call it a buy-now deal because limited-time deals can end without warning, and we can’t promise Black Friday will beat it. If it sells out, the Sonicare 4100 is the cheaper fallback.
Pros- 30% markdown, with three brush heads in the box
- Up to 21 days of battery and a charging travel case
- Four modes plus app coaching
Cons- A limited-time deal, so it can end any day
- Costs far more than the Sonicare 4100
- The power adapter is not included
- 2. Best Cheap Buy Now
Philips Sonicare 4100
BeastScore 90 / 100Typically $40–$60 on Amazon (checked October 21, 2026)The 4100 is the plain, cheap Sonicare. The listing shows no markdown, and Amazon.com sells it, but it is already one of the lowest-priced Sonicares. It has a pressure sensor that pulses when you press too hard, EasyStart to ease you in, a QuadPacer that tells you to change area every 30 seconds and a two-minute SmarTimer. The listing says a full charge lasts up to 14 days. The box holds one brush head and a USB charger. A Black Friday cut may be small on a brush this cheap, so buy it now if you need one.
Pros- One of the lowest-priced Sonicares
- Pressure sensor and a brush head replacement reminder
- Up to 14 days of battery, per the listing
Cons- No markdown shown on the listing
- The listing names no cleaning modes, only timers and pacers
- One brush head and a USB charger, with no power adapter
- 3. Best Premium to Wait For
Oral-B iO Series 9
BeastScore 87 / 100Typically $240–$260 on Amazon (checked October 21, 2026)The iO Series 9 is Oral-B’s top brush on Amazon, and the listing shows a 24% markdown from its list price. Amazon.com sells it. It has 7 cleaning settings, a color display, a pressure sensor that signals too hard, too soft or just right, and an app that tracks where you brush. A 3-hour fast charger and a travel case are in the box, along with four brush heads. It is a good brush at a fair cut. We still say wait: it is a high price for a toothbrush, four heads are more than most people need, and Black Friday could cut it again, though we can’t promise it will.
Pros- 24% off its list price, per the listing
- 7 settings, a color display and a smart pressure sensor
- Four brush heads and a travel case in the box
Cons- Still a premium price after the cut
- More features than most people will use
- The listing does not state battery life
- 4. Best Mid-Range to Wait For
Philips Sonicare 5900
BeastScore 85 / 100Typically $80–$100 on Amazon (checked October 21, 2026)The 5900 is Sonicare’s mid-range pick, and the listing shows no markdown. It has a C3 two-in-one brush head (two come in the box), Clean and Gum Health modes with three intensity levels, a pressure sensor and up to 21 days of battery. That is a lot of brush for the price. The problem is the model just above it: the 7300 has a markdown today and comes with three heads and a travel case. Wait to see whether the 5900 gets a cut of its own. If it does not, the 7300 is the better value.
Pros- C3 brush head, with two in the box
- Up to 21 days of battery, per the listing
- Clean and Gum Health modes with three intensity levels
Cons- No markdown shown on the listing
- The listing shows a charging stand but no travel case
- Only two modes, against four on the 7300
- 5. Best Oral-B Entry to Wait For
Oral-B iO Series 2
BeastScore 84 / 100Typically $50–$70 on Amazon (checked October 21, 2026)The iO2 is the cheapest way into Oral-B’s iO line. The listing says it starts on the super-sensitive setting, has three cleaning settings and an automatic pressure sensor that slows the brush and glows red if you press too hard. A two-minute timer alerts you every 30 seconds. It is built for people switching from a manual brush. The catch is price. With no markdown shown, it costs more than the Sonicare 4100. Wait for a sale cut if you want Oral-B, or buy the Sonicare 4100 now for less.
Pros- An easy switch to electric: it starts on the sensitive setting
- Automatic gum pressure sensor
- 2-minute timer with 30-second zone alerts
Cons- No markdown shown on the listing
- Costs more than the Sonicare 4100
- Only three settings, and the listing does not state battery life
- 6. Skip at This Price
Philips Sonicare DiamondClean 9000
BeastScore 80 / 100Typically $190–$210 on Amazon (checked October 21, 2026)The DiamondClean 9000 looks good on paper: 12 brushing settings across four modes (Clean, White+, Gum Health and Deep Clean+), up to 62,000 bristle movements a minute, a pressure sensor, app pairing and a travel case. The problem is the price. The listing shows no markdown, and it costs noticeably more than the 7300, which has a markdown, three brush heads and a travel case. The listing rates its battery at up to 14 days, against 21 for the 7300. Skip it at this price. If Black Friday pulls it close to the 7300, it is worth another look.
Pros- 12 settings across four modes
- Travel case included
- App pairing with guided brushing
Cons- No markdown shown on the listing
- Costs more than the 7300, which has a 30% markdown
- Battery is listed at up to 14 days, against 21 on the 7300

BuyA real 30% markdown on a brush that includes three heads and a travel case. Limited-time deals can end, so buy now if you want it.
- You want the best deal right now

- You want a cheap electric brush that works
- Your current brush is worn out
- You want to spend as little as possible

WaitThe 24% cut is real, but it is still a premium price. Wait for Black Friday, and if it does not drop further, the Sonicare 7300 is the better value.
- You want Oral-B’s top features and a color display

- The current price already fits your budget

WaitNo markdown, and the 7300 is on sale just above it. Wait for a cut, or buy the 7300 if it is still discounted.
- You want a mid-range Sonicare with gum-care modes
- You can wait for the price to drop
- The 7300 deal has ended

Philips Sonicare 7300
A 30% markdown on a Sonicare that comes with three brush heads and a travel case, sold by Amazon.com. If you buy one toothbrush before Black Friday, make it this one.
- 30% off list
- 3 heads and a travel case
- Up to 21 days of battery
Quick tips before you buy
Brands sell look-alike models, such as the Sonicare 5900 and 5950 or the Oral-B iO9 and a Limited edition. Compare the model in the title with the one you researched.
Oral-B iO heads and Sonicare heads don’t fit each other, so buy refills for the brand you pick. Several listings say the power adapter is not included, only a USB cable or stand.
Look for a listing sold by Amazon.com or the brand’s own store. Third-party bundles with extra heads or odd cases often cost more than the plain brush.
Oral-B says to swap the head about every three months, and Sonicare says to change it regularly. A refill is cheaper than a new brush and does more for your clean.
Quick answers
When does Black Friday 2026 start on Amazon?+
Black Friday is Friday, November 27, 2026, and Cyber Monday is Monday, November 30. Amazon rarely confirms its dates early, and we could not find an announcement for 2026. In past years its Black Friday deals started about a week before Black Friday and ran through Cyber Monday. If it repeats that pattern, early deals could start around November 20 to 23. That is a guess, not an announcement.
Will electric toothbrushes be cheaper on Black Friday than they are now?+
Nobody knows before the sale. A brush that is already low-priced, like the Sonicare 4100, has less room left to fall. A brush with no markdown today, like the Sonicare 5900 or the Oral-B iO2, has more. That is why we split these toothbrushes into buy and wait.
Oral-B or Sonicare: which should I buy on Black Friday?+
Both brands make good brushes, and the right one is the one you will use. Oral-B uses a round head and Sonicare uses a sonic head, so try the feel if you can. On price today, the Sonicare 7300 has the best deal we found, and the Oral-B iO Series 9 is the better pick if you want a display and the most settings.
Is the Sonicare 7300 deal worth it?+
Yes, if you want gum-care modes and a travel case. Amazon shows it 30% off its list price in a limited-time deal, with three brush heads included. Limited-time deals can end without warning, so buy now if it fits and skip the wait.
Is the Oral-B iO Series 9 worth it at 24% off?+
It is a fair cut on a premium brush, but not a must-buy. You get 7 settings, a color display and a smart pressure sensor. If you don’t need all of that, the Sonicare 7300 costs less and shows a bigger markdown. If you want the Oral-B display, wait to see what Black Friday brings.
Are Black Friday toothbrush deals real or just inflated “was” prices?+
Some are real and some are not. Compare each brush with others in the same tier, not with its own crossed-out price. The 7300 and iO9 show real markdowns from list price, while the DiamondClean 9000 shows none and still costs more than the discounted 7300.
How often should I replace my electric toothbrush head?+
About every three months. An Oral-B listing says to replace the head every three months, and Sonicare’s replacement reminder tracks how often and how hard you brush, then tells you when it is time. Buy refills when you buy the brush, and use sale days to stock up.
