Why this kit
A new Model Y is a great car with a few gaps, and most of them show up in the first month: carpet that soaks up mud, snow and spilled coffee, a glossy screen you touch all day, a deep console bin where small things vanish, a glass roof that heats the cabin and lower doors that take stones and salt. The kit idea is one purpose-made accessory for each gap, so the car stays like new and the small annoyances go away. Every pick is sized for the 2025 and later Model Y (Juniper).
Here is the kit in the order to put it on. The 3W Juniper floor mat set covers the floor, the trunk and the back of the rear seats. The Wigoo matte screen protector cuts glare and fingerprints on the 16-inch display and the rear screen. The Wigoo console organizer splits the deep bin into trays and adds a hidden box. The VION roof sunshade blocks heat through the glass roof. The REEVAA mud flaps keep stones and salt off the lower doors.
Who can skip what: this kit is not for older cars, because the 2020 to 2024 Model Y uses different mats, screens and roof panels. Check your trim too: the screen protector fits only the 16-inch screen on the Premium, Performance and Model Y L, and the 5-seat mats will not fit the 7-seat or Standard trim. Skip the sunshade if you mostly drive at night or love the open-sky view, because it blocks the roof completely. Skip the mud flaps if you only drive clean, dry highways. The mats are the big line in the kit and every other piece costs far less, so if the budget is tight, buy the mats first because they protect the most, then add the smaller pieces one at a time. Already own a screen protector or a console tray? Leave it out of your cart.

Protects floor, trunk and rear seatbacks3W Model Y Juniper Floor Mats
All-weather floor and trunk mats · typically $230–$270 on AmazonFloor mats come first in this kit because the carpet takes the damage from day one. The listing says these are laser-measured for the Juniper, and the set covers more than the floor: a seatback mat and a trunk mat keep dogs, groceries and sports bags off the back of the rear seats. The TPE is odorless, stays flexible in the cold and cleans with a hose, which protects resale value. The 5-seat set will not fit the 7-seat or Standard trim, so check your trim first.
- Covers floor, trunk and seatbacks in one set
- Hose-clean TPE that stays flexible in the cold
- Juniper-specific laser-measured fit

Cuts glare and fingerprints on the screenWigoo Matte Screen Protector (16")
Front and rear screen protector set · typically $25–$35 on AmazonYou touch the Model Y screen for almost everything, so it collects fingerprints fast and catches sunlight. This matte glass is the kit’s fix for both. The listing claims it cuts 80% of glare while staying clear, and it is rated 9H. The set covers the 16-inch front screen and the 8-inch rear screen. It is self-applied, so take your time to keep dust out. Matte glass slightly softens how sharp the display looks, and it only fits the 16-inch screen on Premium, Performance and Model Y L.
- Big cut in glare and fingerprints
- Front and rear screens covered in one set
- 9H glass guards against keys and rings

Organizes the deep center consoleWigoo Console Organizer (4 pcs)
Center console trays · typically $30–$45 on AmazonThe center console is a deep, open bin, and keys, sunglasses and cables sink to the bottom. This four-piece set splits it into trays you can reach while driving. The listing says a liquid silicone lining stops coins and keys from rattling, the cup holders stay free for large cups, and a hidden box with a magnetic lid holds things you don’t want on show. It drops in with no tools. You do give up some deep storage for tall items.
- Drop-in fit, no tools
- Silicone lining keeps things quiet
- Hidden magnetic box for valuables

Blocks heat through the glass roofVION Roof Sunshade (Juniper)
Front and rear glass roof shade · typically $50–$70 on AmazonThe Model Y’s all-glass roof looks great but lets in heat and light, and this shade is the kit’s answer for sunny days. One side has a graphene-enhanced coating to cut infrared heat and the other a reflective silver layer, and the listing describes the result as near-complete blackout. A memory steel frame and built-in magnets keep the panels flat. The set has front and rear shades, clips and a storage bag. Owners say the cabin feels noticeably cooler, but you lose the open-roof view.
- Blocks heat and glare from the glass roof
- Steel frame and magnets stop sagging
- Front and rear panels plus storage bag

Guards lower doors from stones and saltREEVAA Model Y Juniper Mud Flaps
Set of 4 mud flaps · typically $30–$45 on AmazonMud flaps cover the last weak spot: the lower doors and rocker panels, which take stones, salt and road grime. REEVAA’s set is made for the Juniper and, per the listing, uses the factory holes and snap-in clips, so there is no drilling and the install takes about five minutes. The composite is rated from -40°F to 180°F, and the low profile keeps about 6.7 inches of ground clearance. REEVAA says the range impact is negligible. If you only drive clean, dry highways, skip them.
- No-drill install in minutes
- Protects paint from gravel and salt
- Low profile keeps ground clearance

Quick tips before you buy
The 2025 and later Juniper uses different mats, screens and roof panels than the 2020 to 2024 Model Y. Look for Juniper or 2025+ in every listing before you order.
Screen size and seating differ by trim. Match the 5-seat or 7-seat mats and the 16-inch screen before you order.
Test mats and protectors in place before you peel or trim anything, so a return is still easy.
Put the sunshade in before the first hot spell and the mud flaps on before snow or gravel season. The mats and the screen protector can go on right away.
Quick answers
What accessories should I buy first for a new Tesla Model Y?+
All-weather floor mats first, then a screen protector. The mats protect the interior and resale value, and a matte screen protector fixes the glare and fingerprints on the screen you touch all day. The console organizer, roof sunshade and mud flaps follow, depending on your climate and roads.
Do Model Y 2020–2024 accessories fit the new Juniper?+
Usually not. The 2025 and later Model Y has a different floor, console, screen and roof, so buy accessories listed for Juniper or 2025+.
Is a Model Y screen protector worth it?+
Yes for most owners. The screen controls almost everything, so it collects fingerprints and catches glare, and a 9H glass protector also guards against scratches. Matte glass softens the display slightly, so you are trading a little sharpness for less glare.
Does the Model Y need a roof sunshade?+
In hot, sunny places, owners say it helps a lot, because the glass roof heats the cabin fast. In cool climates or if you mostly drive at night, you can skip it.
Do mud flaps affect Tesla range?+
Slightly at most. REEVAA says its low-profile flaps keep the range impact negligible. They mainly add protection on gravel, salt and snow.
Are third-party Tesla accessories safe to use?+
Drop-in items like mats, organizers, shades and protectors are. Avoid anything that needs drilling or splicing into wiring unless you are sure it won’t affect your warranty.
