Black Friday 2026: Bose deals
4 real drops, from $169

Black Friday is November 27, and Amazon has not announced its own sale dates yet. We checked four Bose noise cancelling models against their own three-month Amazon price history on November 5. All four are under their average, and two are at record lows.

How we check a deal: we check every Amazon.com price and compare it with the list price. These savings are against list prices, not record lows, and we say so on the page. We don’t test these products hands-on.

The short answer

When do Black Friday 2026 Bose deals start? Black Friday is Friday, November 27, 2026, the day after Thanksgiving (Thursday, November 26), and Cyber Monday is Monday, November 30. Amazon has not announced its 2026 Black Friday sale dates yet (checked November 5), so we are not guessing at one. The good news is that the Bose drops below are live on Amazon right now, about three weeks ahead of the big weekend.

The short answer, in three lines. If your noise cancelling headphones feel like pressure on your ears or give you a headache, the cause is usually the strong noise cancelling or a tight clamp, and the first fix is free: turn the noise cancelling down (or off) where the model allows it, or switch to Aware mode. If they simply do not block enough noise, check the fit first: the ear cushions must seal around your ears, and Bose earbuds come with several eartip and stability-band sizes. If you do want new Bose headphones, the best deal is the Bose QuietComfort Headphones (2nd Gen) at $199, the lowest Amazon price Keepa has recorded for them and $143 under their three-month average.

What other roundups miss. Most “Black Friday Bose deals” lists show a discount against a list price that Bose rarely charges on Amazon, so a big percentage badge can still be a normal price. We checked each Bose model here against its own three-month Amazon price history on Keepa, and every one is sold by Amazon.com. All four passed, and we say plainly how big each saving is: large on the two QuietComfort headphones, modest on the earbuds and the Ultra headphones. Who should get which: the QuietComfort Headphones (2nd Gen) for most people, the original QuietComfort at $169 for the cheapest Bose noise cancelling, the QuietComfort Ultra Headphones for Bose’s top tier, and the QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds if you want earbuds instead of over-ear headphones. Prices move daily, so tap “View on Amazon” for today’s number.

Best Black Friday Bose over-ear headphone deals

Three over-ear models for commutes, flights and open offices. The QuietComfort Headphones (2nd Gen) at $199 is the headline: a record low and the best fit for most people. The original QuietComfort at $169 is the cheapest Bose noise cancelling here. The QuietComfort Ultra Headphones (2nd Gen) at $359.89 is the top tier, with only a modest saving.

  1. SAVE $143Bose QuietComfort Headphones (2nd Gen)

The redesigned QuietComfort over-ear headphones, with new pill-shaped earcups, a wider adjustable headband and, per the listing, up to 24 hours of play time. At $199 it is the lowest Amazon price Keepa has recorded for it. It was $359 from August to October 30, so this is a real step down, not a normal day. Pick it over the original if you want the newer design, Immersive Audio and extra modes such as Cinema. Pick it over the Ultra if you do not need Bose’s top tier. Do not pick it if you want a long review history, because it is a new model.

New 2026 model: fewer owner reviews so far.

The original QuietComfort Bluetooth Headphones from 2023: over-ear, Quiet and Aware modes, adjustable EQ, up to 24 hours of battery and a wired option with the included audio cable. At $169 it is the lowest price Keepa has recorded for this listing and $127 under its three-month average. It also hit $169 in mid-October and was $229 to $359 for the rest of the 90 days. One other color listing dipped to about $151 in early October, so a slightly lower price has existed. Pick it as the cheapest Bose noise cancelling here. Choose the 2nd Gen instead if you want Immersive Audio or the newer modes.

    Price can differ by color.

  3. SAVE $53Bose QuietComfort Ultra Bluetooth Headphones (2nd Gen)

Bose’s top over-ear headphones. The listing says Bose’s best noise cancelling for headphones, spatialised audio, a Cinema Mode, USB voice for calls and up to 30 hours of play time (23 with Immersive Audio). At $359.89 it is $53 under its three-month average, but be honest about the size of the drop: it has been $369 several times and hit $320 for one day in mid-August. We list it because the saving is real, not because it is a bargain. Pick it if you fly or commute daily and want the top tier. If price matters more, the QuietComfort Headphones (2nd Gen) cost about $160 less.

A modest drop, not a record.

Best Black Friday Bose earbud deals

One model, for people who want earbuds instead of an over-ear band: the QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (2nd Gen) at $229. It is a three-month low, but not its all-time low, so the saving is modest.

  1. SAVE $44Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (2nd Gen)

Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (2nd Gen)

Noise cancelling earbuds, IPX4 · Fixes: bulky over-ears on the go
    $2293-month avg $273
You save $44 (16% off the 3-month average)
    • Lowest in 3 months
    • 2K+ bought in past month
    • Checked November 5, 2026

The in-ear choice. The listing calls its noise cancelling the best of any Bose wireless earbuds, adds CustomTune, which analyses your ears, and Immersive Audio, and lists up to 6 hours of battery with an IPX4 rating. At $229 it is the lowest price in three months and $44 under its average, after $250 to $300 from August to October. It is not a record: it was $199.99 in November 2025. Pick it if you want earbuds for the gym, walks or a commute. Do not pick it for long flights if in-ear tips bother you, or if you need more than about six hours per charge.

Quick tips before you buy

Ear pressure or a headache? Try this before you buy

Some people feel a pressure-like sensation from strong noise cancelling, and a tight clamp or loud volume can add a headache. The free fixes: switch to Aware mode, turn the noise cancelling down or off where your model allows it, lower the volume and take short breaks. If the discomfort keeps coming back, stop using them and ask a doctor.

Fit decides how much noise you block

Poor noise blocking is often a fit problem, not a product problem. Over-ear cushions must seal around your ears, so glasses, hair or a loose headband let sound leak. Bose earbuds come with several eartip and stability-band sizes, and the right pair changes how much noise they block. Try every size before you decide they are weak.

Pick over-ear or earbuds by battery and trip length

The listings say up to 24 hours for the QuietComfort Headphones, up to 30 hours for the Ultra Headphones and up to 6 hours for the Ultra Earbuds. Over-ear headphones suit long flights and full workdays. Earbuds suit short commutes, walks and the gym, and they fit in a pocket.

Judge a deal by price history, and buy from Amazon.com

A “percent off” badge is measured against a list price that can be higher than the Bose usually sells for. Check the three-month average and the lowest price ever on a price tracker such as Keepa before you buy. All four were sold by Amazon.com when we checked on November 5, and prices move daily, so tap “View on Amazon” and read the return details on the listing.

What to skip

Skip no-name headphones that claim “Bose-level” noise cancelling at a fraction of the price: we have not checked those claims. Skip renewed, used or third-party-seller units of these Bose models unless the warranty and return terms are clear. Skip earbuds if in-ear tips bother you, and skip the Ultra Headphones if you will never use spatial audio. And skip maximum noise cancelling if it gives you ear pressure: choose a model with a level control or Aware mode instead.

Quick answers

When do Black Friday Bose deals start?+

Black Friday is Friday, November 27, 2026, and Cyber Monday is Monday, November 30. Amazon has not announced its 2026 Black Friday sale dates yet (checked November 5). The four Bose models on this page are already under their three-month Amazon average today. We only price-check Amazon.com, so we cannot say what other stores will do.

Is $199 a good price for Bose QuietComfort Headphones?+

By the numbers, yes. $199 is the lowest Amazon price Keepa has recorded for the QuietComfort Headphones (2nd Gen) and $143 under its three-month average of $342.21. One caution: it is a new 2026 model that sat at $359 from August to October 30, so its history is short and the average is lifted by that stretch. If you want to spend less, the original QuietComfort is $169.

Why do my noise cancelling headphones hurt my ears?+

Many people report a pressure-like feeling with strong noise cancelling, similar to a change in cabin pressure, and a tight clamp can add to it. Try Aware mode, or turn the noise cancelling down or off if your model allows it, and loosen the headband or take breaks. If you get pain rather than pressure, or it does not go away, stop wearing them and ask a doctor.

Why do my noise cancelling headphones give me a headache?+

Common causes people report are the pressure-like feeling of strong noise cancelling, a tight fit, and a high volume. Lower the noise cancelling or switch to Aware mode, lower the volume, and take breaks every hour or so. Earbuds that sit loosely, or over-ear headphones with a lighter clamp, can feel different. If headaches continue, see a doctor.

Bose QuietComfort vs Ultra: which should I buy?+

The QuietComfort Ultra is Bose’s top tier. The Ultra Headphones listing calls its noise cancelling Bose’s best for headphones, lists spatialised audio, and says up to 30 hours of play time. The QuietComfort Headphones (2nd Gen) listing also mentions Immersive Audio and lists up to 24 hours. For most people the QuietComfort at $199 is the better value, about $160 below the Ultra at $359.89.

Bose QuietComfort vs QuietComfort Headphones (2nd Gen): what changed?+

The 2nd Gen is a redesign. The listing mentions new pill-shaped earcups, a wider adjustable headband, Immersive Audio, more modes (Quiet, Aware, Immersion, Cinema and noise cancelling off), lossless audio over USB-C and better call quality. The original has Quiet and Aware modes, adjustable EQ and a wired option with the included audio cable. The original is $169 and the 2nd Gen is $199, a $30 gap.

Bose QuietComfort vs Sony XM6: which is better?+

We did not price-check Sony for this page, so we do not name a winner on price. Sony’s WH-1000XM6 is its top noise cancelling model, so the fairer Bose match is the QuietComfort Ultra Headphones rather than the cheaper QuietComfort.
