Black Friday 2026: Ring deals
doorbells, cameras and alarm kits to buy now, wait for or skip
Our best buy is the Ring Wired Doorbell 2K. Black Friday is 37 days away and Amazon has not announced its dates. We checked Ring doorbells, cameras and an Alarm kit on Amazon on October 21 to see which are worth buying now, which to wait on and which to skip.
How we picked: we shortlist by Amazon Best Seller rank and number of ratings, then compare published specs. We don't test these products hands-on.

The short answer
When do Black Friday 2026 deals start? Black Friday is Friday, November 27, 2026, the day after Thanksgiving (Thursday, November 26), and Cyber Monday is Monday, November 30. Amazon has not announced its 2026 Black Friday sale dates yet. In past years its Black Friday deals started about a week before Black Friday and ran through Cyber Monday. Ring is an Amazon company, so Amazon sets these prices itself, and Ring is one of the brands that usually shows up in the sale.
This page is a buying plan for Ring doorbells, cameras and an Alarm kit sold on Amazon, written on October 21 after Prime Big Deal Days (October 6–7) and before the main sale. Buy now: the Ring Wired Doorbell 2K and the Floodlight Cam Wired Pro 2-pack, both sold by Amazon.com and listed well below their “was” prices. Wait: the Battery Doorbell 4K Pro, the Outdoor Cam 2K, the Ring Alarm 5-Piece Kit and the Battery Doorbell 2K Plus, which is out of stock on Amazon right now. Skip: the Pan-Tilt Indoor Cam, which costs the same as the newer 2K Indoor Cam.
Don’t wait if you have a package thief on your street, a new baby or a move coming. A camera you can use beats a small saving. Don’t chase “percent off” badges either: a “was” price is often a high list price, so judge each product against similar Ring models, not against its own crossed-out number. Every product here is new and was sold by Amazon.com when we checked. Prices move daily, so tap “View on Amazon” for today’s number. Video history and AI alerts on any Ring device need a Ring Protect plan, which is sold separately.

Why each one made the list
What each pick does best, where it falls short, and the typical Amazon price when we checked.
- 1. Best Buy Now
Ring Wired Doorbell 2K
BeastScore 92 / 100Typically $70–$90 on Amazon (checked October 21, 2026)This is the strongest Ring price on the list. The listing says the Wired Doorbell 2K has Retinal 2K video with up to 6x Enhanced Zoom, Live View, Two-Way Talk and real-time motion alerts, and it runs on the same wiring as your current doorbell, so it never needs charging. It is sold by Amazon.com and was listed at about half its “was” price when we checked, which already makes it the cheapest way into Ring. A deeper Black Friday cut is possible, but it would have to be a big one to beat this. If you have doorbell wires, buy it now and stop watching prices.
Pros- Already about half off its “was” price
- Hardwired, so no battery to charge
- Sold by Amazon.com
Cons- Needs existing doorbell wiring
- No color night vision is mentioned on the listing
- Video history and AI alerts need a Ring Protect plan
- 2. Best Buy Now for Outdoor Cameras
Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro (2-pack)
BeastScore 90 / 100Typically $290–$310 on Amazon (checked October 21, 2026)Floodlight cameras are the most expensive Ring products, so a real cut matters here. The listing is a 2-pack of the Wired Pro with Retinal 2K video, motion-activated LED floodlights, Two-Way Talk with Audio+ and a built-in 110 dB siren. It says 3D Motion Detection pinpoints where motion happens and Bird’s Eye View shows the path in the Ring app. It is sold by Amazon.com and listed about a third below its “was” price. That is a fair price for two cameras. Buy it if you need two. If you only want one, wait for a single-camera deal, because paying for two is a poor trade.
Pros- Two Wired Pro cameras at a price well below the “was” price
- 3D Motion Detection and Bird’s Eye View for fewer false alerts
- Floodlights and a 110 dB siren built in
Cons- Needs hardwiring, so many homes will want an electrician
- You pay for two cameras whether you need them or not
- The best AI features need a Ring Protect plan
- 3. Best 4K Doorbell to Wait For
Ring Battery Doorbell 4K Pro
BeastScore 88 / 100Typically $240–$260 on Amazon (checked October 21, 2026)This is the best Ring doorbell without wires, and the listing backs that up: Retinal 4K video with up to 10x Enhanced Zoom, radar-powered 3D Motion Detection and Audio+ for clearer Two-Way Talk. Power comes from the Quick Release Ultra Battery Pack, which Ring calls its fastest-charging battery yet. Nothing is wrong with it. The issue is the price: the listing shows only a small markdown from its “was” price, and it costs about three times the Wired Doorbell 2K. A new top-end model like this is the kind of product that can get its first real cut in a big sale. Wait and see.
Pros- 4K video and 10x zoom with no wiring
- Radar 3D Motion Detection for precise alerts
- Fast-charging Ultra battery pack
Cons- Only a small markdown on the listing today
- Costs about three times the Wired Doorbell 2K
- Busy doorways mean more frequent charging
- 4. Best Everyday Doorbell to Wait For
Ring Battery Doorbell 2K Plus
BeastScore 86 / 100The 2K Plus is the doorbell most people without wires should buy. The listing says it has Retinal 2K video with up to 6x Enhanced Zoom, color night vision that switches to black and white only in total darkness, improved Two-Way Talk, and a Quick Release Battery Pack you swap without taking the doorbell off the wall. The catch is stock. When we checked on October 21, Amazon showed it as currently unavailable with no return date, so there is no price to judge. Check the listing as the sale gets close, and buy if it returns at a real discount. If you need a doorbell this week, the plain Battery Doorbell 2K is a fallback.
Pros- Quick Release battery charges without unmounting
- Color night vision at 2K
- Mounts anywhere, no wiring needed
Cons- Out of stock on Amazon when we checked
- Battery still needs charging every so often
- Video history needs a Ring Protect plan
- 5. Best Outdoor Cam to Wait For
Ring Outdoor Cam 2K (Battery)
BeastScore 85 / 100Typically $90–$110 on Amazon (checked October 21, 2026)Ring’s newest battery outdoor camera has a good spec sheet: the listing says wide-angle Retinal 2K video, up to 6x Enhanced Zoom, true-color night vision and a siren you sound with a tap in the Ring app. It is weather resistant and mounts almost anywhere, with no wiring. It is sold by Amazon.com, but the listing shows no markdown, which makes this a wait. A new camera with no markdown is the kind of listing that can get its first real cut in a big sale. If it drops, it is a solid add-on to a Ring doorbell.
Pros- 2K video, 6x zoom and color night vision
- Built-in siren and weather-resistant body
- Battery power means easy mounting
Cons- No markdown on the listing today
- A battery camera needs charging from time to time
- Video history needs a Ring Protect plan
- 6. Best Bundle to Wait For
Ring Alarm 5-Piece Kit with Indoor Cam 2nd Gen
BeastScore 84 / 100Typically $240–$260 on Amazon (checked October 21, 2026)This bundle pairs the Ring Alarm 5-Piece Kit with an Indoor Cam 2nd Gen. The listing says the kit includes a keypad and contact sensors that detect when doors or windows open, and you can add more sensors later. You get alerts and control in the Ring app, and Alexa voice control to arm and disarm works with a Ring Protect subscription. It is sold by Amazon.com, with no markdown shown today. We call it a wait because kits and bundles are often where a big sale makes its deepest cuts. That is a pattern, not a promise. Arming from anywhere, Wi-Fi backup and 24/7 professional monitoring all need a Ring Protect plan, sold separately.
Pros- Alarm kit and camera in one purchase
- Add sensors and accessories any time
- Works with Alexa
Cons- No markdown shown on the listing today
- Remote arming and professional monitoring need a paid Ring Protect plan
- Not enough sensors for a large home without add-ons
- 7. Skip at This Price
Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Cam
BeastScore 80 / 100Typically $50–$70 on Amazon (checked October 21, 2026)The Pan-Tilt Indoor Cam does one thing the others do not: it turns 360° and tilts up and down from the Ring app, so one camera can cover a whole room. The listing also says it has HD video, color night vision and Two-Way Talk. Our problem is the comparison. The listing price matches the Ring Indoor Cam 2K, which has newer Retinal 2K video and a 4x zoom. Paying the same for lower video quality is a poor trade unless the pan matters to you. If Black Friday cuts the Pan-Tilt well below the Indoor Cam 2K, it becomes interesting again. Until then, skip it.
Pros- 360° pan and tilt covers a whole room with one camera
- Color night vision and Two-Way Talk
- Plug in and place, no tools
Cons- HD video, not the 2K of the Indoor Cam 2K
- Costs the same as the newer Indoor Cam 2K on the listing
- A 2024 model

Ring Wired Doorbell 2K
The cheapest way into Ring, already listed at about half its “was” price and sold by Amazon.com. If you have doorbell wires, this is the Ring to buy before Black Friday.
- About half off its “was” price
- Retinal 2K video
- Sold by Amazon.com
Quick tips before you buy
Wired doorbells and floodlights need power at the door or wall. Look for existing doorbell wires before you pick a wired model, so you can decide fast when the sale starts.
Video history, AI alerts and professional alarm monitoring need a Ring Protect plan, sold separately. Add the monthly cost to the price of the device before you decide.
Battery cameras mount anywhere but need charging. A busy front door drains a battery faster than a quiet side yard, and a wired model never needs charging.
Open the listing’s return details before you buy so you know the window and who pays for a return. Compare the exact model name, such as Wired Doorbell 2K, with the one you researched.
Quick answers
When does Black Friday 2026 start on Amazon?+
Black Friday is Friday, November 27, 2026, and Cyber Monday is Monday, November 30. Amazon has not announced its 2026 sale dates yet. In past years its Black Friday deals started about a week before Black Friday and ran through Cyber Monday. If it repeats that pattern, early deals could start around November 20. That is a guess, not an announcement.
Will Ring be cheaper on Black Friday than it is now?+
Nobody knows before the sale. A product already listed well below its “was” price, like the Ring Wired Doorbell 2K, has less room left to fall. A new model with only a small markdown, like the Battery Doorbell 4K Pro, has more. That is why we split these Ring products into buy and wait.
Is it better to buy a Ring doorbell now or wait for Black Friday?+
Buy now if the price is already low and the seller is Amazon.com, or if you need the doorbell this month. Wait if the model is new and the listing shows little or no markdown. If you buy now and the price drops later, do not count on a refund. Check the return details on the listing first.
Are Black Friday Ring deals real or inflated “was” prices?+
Some are real and some are not. A “was” price is often a high list price, which makes the percent off look large even when similar Ring models cost less. Compare the product with other Ring models in the same tier, not with its own crossed-out price.
Which Ring product is best to buy first?+
For most homes with doorbell wires, it is the Ring Wired Doorbell 2K: the lowest-priced Ring doorbell, with Retinal 2K video and no battery to charge. Without wires, look at the Battery Doorbell 2K Plus when it is back in stock, or the 4K Pro if you want the sharpest picture.
Do Ring cameras need a subscription?+
You can use Live View and get basic motion alerts without one. A Ring Protect plan, sold separately, adds video history, smarter alerts, and for Ring Alarm kits, 24/7 professional monitoring and remote arming. Add the monthly cost to the device price before you compare deals.
Should I buy a wired or battery Ring doorbell?+
Choose wired if you already have doorbell wires, since it never needs charging and costs less. Choose battery if you rent or have no wires. The Battery Doorbell 2K Plus has a Quick Release battery, and the 4K Pro has the fast-charging Ultra pack.
