Black Friday 2026: earbuds deals
5 price drops for buds that block the commute

Black Friday is November 27, and Amazon has not announced its own sale dates yet. We checked each pair of earbuds below against its own three-month price history on Keepa on November 7. The Bose and the Pixel Buds Pro 2 are at their lowest price in three months, the Nothing and the JBL are under their averages but not at a three-month low, and the TOZO is sold by a third-party seller, so we say plainly which drops matter.

How we check a deal: we check every Amazon.com price and compare it with the list price. These savings are against list prices, not record lows, and we say so on the page. We don’t test these products hands-on.

The short answer

When do Black Friday 2026 earbuds deals start? Black Friday is Friday, November 27, 2026, the day after Thanksgiving (Thursday, November 26), and Cyber Monday is Monday, November 30. Amazon has not announced its 2026 Black Friday sale dates yet (checked November 7), so we are not guessing at one. The five earbuds drops below are live on Amazon now, about three weeks before the big weekend, so there is no need to hold off if noise on your commute, in the office or on a plane is the problem today.

The short answer. Noise that leaks in and buds that will not stay put are usually a fit problem first. Try every ear-tip size in the box, because a seal is what makes noise cancelling work and what keeps a bud in your ear. Then clean the mesh, update the firmware in the maker’s app and check that noise cancelling, not transparency, is switched on. Those fixes cost nothing. If noise still gets through, the best deal here is the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (2nd Gen) at $229, its lowest price in three months and $51 under its three-month average of $280.13: on paper, the strongest noise cancelling deal on the page. If you use a Pixel or another Android phone, the Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 at $169 is the better fit. The Nothing Ear (3) at $109.99 is the mid-price choice, and for a small budget the JBL Vibe Beam at $29.95 and the TOZO NC9 at $26.55 are the cheapest. Don’t pay Bose money if you mostly want buds for the gym or for background music: the cheaper pairs cover that job.

What other roundups miss. Most “Black Friday earbuds deals” lists show a discount against a list price the earbuds rarely sell for. We checked each pair here against its own three-month price history on Keepa on November 7. The Bose and the Pixel are at their lowest price in three months, but neither is at its all-time low. The Nothing was $99 in October, so $109.99 is a real saving but not its best recent price. The JBL’s $29.95 is its usual sale price, not a rare drop. The TOZO is sold by Worgo, a third-party seller, not Amazon.com, and its saving is measured against Keepa’s New-price average. Prices move daily, so tap “View on Amazon” for today’s number.

Our picks

The best deals right now

Amazon prices when we checked on November 7, 2026. Savings are against each product’s three-month average price on Keepa, not an inflated list price. The TOZO NC9 is measured against Keepa’s New-price average because a third-party seller, Worgo, sells it. Prices change often, so tap through for today's price.

Best Black Friday noise cancelling earbuds deals: Bose and Pixel at 3-month lows

The Pixel Buds Pro 2 at $169 is $29 under its average and the better fit for a Pixel or Android phone. Neither is at its all-time low.

Best Black Friday mid-price earbuds deal

One pair for noisy calls without Bose money: the Nothing Ear (3) at $109.99. It is $19 under its average, but it is not a three-month low, because it was $99 for part of October. Choose it for the Super Mic and the ANC on the listing, not for the discount.

The Nothing Ear (3) title claims 45dB hybrid active noise cancelling, and the listing adds a Transparency Mode. Its odd feature is Super Mic: you hold a TALK button on the charging case within 5 cm of your mouth to cut background noise on calls, which the listing says works up to 95 dB. It also lists six microphones, a 12 mm driver, Bluetooth 5.4, Hi-Res audio, a Low Lag Mode and an app with EQ. At $109.99 it is $19 under the 90-day average of $129.77, but not a three-month low: it was $99 from about October 2 to 14. Pick it for noisy calls at a mid price. Don’t pick it if you want its best recent price.

Not a 3-month low: it was $99 in mid-October. Price is for the Black color.

Best Black Friday earbuds deals under $30

Two pairs for a small budget, and neither is a rare price. The JBL Vibe Beam at $29.95 is sold by Amazon.com, has no active noise cancelling in the bullets we checked and lists long battery life. The TOZO NC9 at $26.55 lists hybrid ANC but is sold by a third-party seller, Worgo, and its saving is against a New-price average.

It also lists Smart Ambient with TalkThru and Ambient Aware, and VoiceAware for calls. The bullets we checked do not mention active noise cancelling. At $29.95 it is $17 under the 90-day average of $47.22, but not a three-month low: that is its usual sale price. Pick it for battery on a budget. Don’t pick it if loud commute noise is the problem.

Quick tips before you buy

Fix the seal before you spend a dollar

Noise cancelling and a secure fit both start with a seal. Try every ear-tip size in the box, push each bud in and twist it until it feels closed, and judge by how much quieter the room gets, not by comfort alone. Clean the mesh and the tips, because wax or lint can block the sound and weaken the seal, and update the firmware in the maker’s app. The Bose listing mentions nine combinations of eartips and stability bands, and the Pixel Buds Pro 2 listing describes a twist-to-adjust stabilizer. The listings for the other three do not say which tips or fins come in the box, so check the box contents.

Use noise cancelling and transparency on purpose

Noise cancelling is for the train, the plane and the open-plan office. Transparency or ambient mode is for crossing the street, a platform announcement or a quick chat. A bud left in the wrong mode can seem broken, so check the app to see which one is on. Four listings here describe a way to hear around you: the Bose Aware Mode, the Pixel’s Adaptive Audio, the Nothing’s Transparency Mode and the TOZO’s Transparent Mode. The JBL lists Smart Ambient with TalkThru and Ambient Aware, but the bullets we checked do not list active noise cancelling.

Compare battery with noise cancelling on

Buds that die mid-day are the other half of the problem, and listings often quote the best case. The Bose lists up to 6 hours in Quiet or Aware Mode, or up to 4 hours with Immersive Audio, and a case that holds up to three full charges. The JBL lists 8 hours in the buds and 24 in the case, with 2 extra hours from a 10-minute speed charge. The TOZO lists 10 hours per single use with ANC on (14 with it off) and 40 hours in total with ANC on. The bullets we checked for the Pixel Buds Pro 2 and the Nothing Ear (3) give no battery figure, so read the full listing before you order.

What to skip

Skip paying Bose money if you mostly need buds for the gym: the Bose listing gives IPX4, the TOZO lists IPX8 and the Pixel lists a stabilizer made for workouts. Skip the cheapest pairs if calls matter most, and look at the Bose (SpeechClarity mics) or the Nothing (Super Mic and six microphones) instead. Skip a color or seller we did not check: the prices here are for the Bose in Desert Gold, the Pixel in Hazel, and the Nothing and the JBL in Black, and the TOZO is sold by Worgo, not Amazon.com. And skip buying anything new until you have tried every ear-tip size you already have.

Quick answers

Are earbuds cheaper on Black Friday?+

Sometimes, but a “percent off” badge is not the proof, because it compares with a list price that can be higher than the earbuds usually sell for. What we can say is what Keepa shows: on November 7 all five pairs on this page were under their own three-month average, and two of them, the Bose at $229 and the Pixel at $169, were at their lowest price in three months. We cannot say what Amazon will do on November 27, so judge any deal against the three-month average, not the badge.

Which earbuds have the best noise cancelling for the money?+

On paper, the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (2nd Gen) at $229: the listing calls its noise cancellation the best of any Bose wireless earbuds and adds CustomTune, which adapts to your ears. The Pixel Buds Pro 2 at $169 and the Nothing Ear (3) at $109.99 list active noise cancelling too, and the TOZO NC9 at $26.55 lists hybrid ANC with up to 45 dB of noise reduction. We have not tested any of them, and a decibel number on a listing is a claim, not a result. The JBL Vibe Beam lists a closed design but no active noise cancelling in the bullets we checked.

Why do my earbuds keep falling out?+

Usually the ear tips are the wrong size, or the buds sit at the wrong angle. Try every ear-tip size in the box and twist each bud in until it feels sealed, not just resting. Wipe the tips if sweat or wax has made them slick. If the buds still slip, choose a pair with a stabilizer: the Pixel Buds Pro 2 listing describes a twist-to-adjust stabilizer, and the Bose listing includes nine combinations of eartips and stability bands. A bud that moves also leaks noise, so fixing the fit helps noise cancelling too.

Is the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (2nd Gen) worth $229?+

By the numbers, yes, if noise is your problem. $229 is its lowest price in three months and $51 under its 90-day average of $280.13: it sat at $250 to $299 from August to late October and has been $229 since about October 28. It is not an all-time low, though, because it was $216 on November 29, 2025. The listing describes CustomTune, ActiveSense, nine eartip and stability-band combinations and a wireless charging case. Up to 6 hours per charge (4 with Immersive Audio) is on the short side, and the price is for the Desert Gold limited-edition color. If you mostly want buds for the gym or for music, the Pixel Buds Pro 2 at $169 or the Nothing Ear (3) at $109.99 cost less.

When does Amazon’s Black Friday sale start in 2026?+

Amazon has not announced its 2026 Black Friday sale dates (checked November 7), so we are not guessing at one. Black Friday itself is Friday, November 27, 2026, the day after Thanksgiving (Thursday, November 26), and Cyber Monday is Monday, November 30. The five earbuds on this page were already under their three-month average when we checked, so you can buy today if noise is the problem, and “View on Amazon” shows the current price.

Why can I still hear noise with my noise cancelling earbuds?+

Most often it is the seal. Noise cancelling works best when the ear tip closes off the ear canal, so a tip that is too small, too big or pushed in at the wrong angle lets sound leak past. Try every ear-tip size, clean any mesh or tip blocked by wax, update the firmware in the maker’s app and check that noise cancelling is on, not transparency or ambient mode. Noise cancelling also tends to work better on steady sounds, such as an engine or a fan, than on sudden ones like voices. The Bose listing says ActiveSense smooths spikes in surrounding sound. If noise still leaks after all that, use the return window and try a different pair.
