Black Friday 2026: Dyson deals
to buy now, wait for or skip (vacuums, Airwrap, Supersonic)
Our best buy is the Dyson V8 Cyclone. Black Friday is 39 days away and Amazon has not announced its dates. We checked six Dyson vacuums and hair tools on Amazon.com on October 19 to see which are already marked down, which are at full price and which to skip.
How we picked: we shortlist by Amazon Best Seller rank and number of ratings, then compare published specs. We don't test these products hands-on.

The short answer
When do Black Friday 2026 deals start? Black Friday is Friday, November 27, 2026, the day after Thanksgiving (Thursday, November 26), and Cyber Monday is Monday, November 30. Amazon has not announced its 2026 Black Friday sale dates yet (we checked on October 19). In past years its Black Friday deals started about a week before Black Friday and ran through Cyber Monday, so early Dyson deals could appear around November 20. That is a pattern, not a promise.
This page is a buying plan for Dyson vacuums and hair tools sold on Amazon, written on October 19. We looked at what each live listing showed that day: the “list” price against the current price, any “low price” badge, and whether Dyson sells a newer model. Buy now: the Dyson V8 Cyclone, listed at a 30-day low price, and the V16 Piston Animal, listed at a 90-day low price. Wait: the V15 Detect, which is marked down but carries no low-price badge, plus the Airwrap i.d. and the Supersonic Nural hair dryer, both at full price. Skip: the Airstrait straightener at its full $499 band.
Don’t wait if your vacuum has died or you need a gift in hand. A tool you use now beats a small saving. Dyson hair tools are the hardest to time: the Airwrap and Supersonic listings showed no markdown on October 19, and we cannot promise a Black Friday cut. Every Dyson here was sold by Amazon.com when we checked. Prices move daily, so tap “View on Amazon” for today’s number.

Why each one made the list
What each pick does best, where it falls short, and the typical Amazon price when we checked.
- 1. Best Dyson Deal to Buy Now
Dyson V8 Cyclone
BeastScore 91 / 100Typically $290–$310 on Amazon (checked October 19, 2026)This is the Dyson to buy now if you want the brand without a $600 bill. On October 19 the listing showed a 30-day low price and roughly 25 percent off Dyson’s list price, and Amazon.com was the seller. The listing says it has up to 60 minutes of run time, 30 percent more power in its lightweight frame, and an All Floor Cones head that de-tangles all hair lengths. It is simpler than the V15 and V16: no laser, no screen. That is why it is cheap, and why a deeper Black Friday cut is possible but not certain. Buy now if you need a vacuum.
Pros- Lowest Dyson vacuum price we checked that is still a current V-series model
- Up to 60 minutes of run time, per the listing
- Sold by Amazon.com, with a 30-day return window on the listing
Cons- No laser dust detection and no LCD screen
- The badge is a 30-day low, not a 90-day low
- Less suction than the V15 and V16 on paper
- 2. Best Premium Vacuum to Buy Now
Dyson V16 Piston Animal
BeastScore 90 / 100Typically $790–$810 on Amazon (checked October 19, 2026)The V16 is Dyson’s newest vacuum class in this guide, and it was the only premium Dyson with a 90-day low price badge on October 19. The listing shows about 18 percent off Dyson’s list price and Amazon.com as the seller. It says the Hyperdymium 900W motor produces 315 Air Watts, the battery runs up to 70 minutes, and a CleanCompaktor bin holds 3x more dust and empties more hygienically. It also senses the floor type and adjusts brush speed on its own. At about $800 it is a big spend, but a new model at a 90-day low is the closest thing to a safe early buy.
Pros- 90-day low price badge on a new model
- Up to 70 minutes of run time and 315 Air Watts, per the listing
- Bin compresses dust, so you empty it less often
Cons- Still around $800, and the cheapest option here is half that
- The “most powerful” claims are Dyson’s own, not our tests
- Heavier-duty tool than most small homes need
- 3. Best Vacuum to Wait For
Dyson V15 Detect
BeastScore 87 / 100Typically $640–$660 on Amazon (checked October 19, 2026)The V15 Detect is a good vacuum at an awkward price. The listing on October 19 showed about 24 percent off Dyson’s list price, which sounds great, but there was no low-price badge. It also sits only a short step below the V16 Piston Animal, which did have a 90-day low badge. The listing says it adapts power to the debris it detects, shows particle counts on an LCD screen and runs for up to 60 minutes. If you want the laser-and-screen experience, wait and see whether a Black Friday cut pushes it toward $550 to $600. If not, the V16 is the better use of money, and the V8 Cyclone is the better use if you just need a vacuum.
Pros- Laser head and particle counter, per the listing
- Marked down about 24% under list
- Sold by Amazon.com
Cons- No low-price badge, so the discount may not be a real low
- Priced close to the newer V16
- Costs more than twice the V8 Cyclone
- 4. Best Hair Tool to Wait For
Dyson Airwrap i.d.
BeastScore 86 / 100Typically $640–$660 on Amazon (checked October 19, 2026)The Airwrap i.d. is the app-connected Airwrap. The listing says you answer six questions in the MyDyson app about hair type and length, and it tailors the tool’s styling settings to your profile. It also says it dries, curls, waves, shapes and smooths with no heat damage, and that it is engineered for straight and wavy hair. The problem is timing. On October 19 the listing showed no markdown, and Dyson’s newer Airwrap Co-anda2x, which the listing calls its most powerful Airwrap, sits above it at a higher price. Hair tools are where a Black Friday cut would matter most and where we have the least proof. Wait for the sale before you pay around $650.
Pros- App-guided settings through MyDyson
- Six styling modes in one tool, per the listing
- Sold by Amazon.com
Cons- No markdown on the listing today
- Dyson sells a newer, stronger Airwrap (Co-anda2x)
- Built for straight and wavy hair, not tight curls
- 5. Best Hair Dryer to Wait For
Dyson Supersonic Nural
BeastScore 85 / 100Typically $440–$460 on Amazon (checked October 19, 2026)The Supersonic Nural is Dyson’s sensor-driven hair dryer. The listing says its Nural sensors keep the air at a target of 130°F at the scalp, switch off the heater when you pause and learn each attachment’s settings. Those are real features, but the listing showed no markdown on October 19, and Dyson’s lighter Supersonic Travel was listed at about $300. If you want the full-size dryer, a Black Friday sale is the most likely time for a cut, though we can’t promise one. Wait, and if nothing moves, decide whether Nural’s sensors are worth around $150 more than the Travel.
Pros- Scalp protect mode and pause detect, per the listing
- Learns attachment settings
- Sold by Amazon.com
Cons- No markdown on the listing today
- Costs about $150 more than the Supersonic Travel
- The 130°F figure is Dyson’s claim, not our test
- 6. Skip at This Price
Dyson Airstrait
BeastScore 80 / 100Typically $490–$510 on Amazon (checked October 19, 2026)The Airstrait is a clever tool: the listing says it dries and straightens wet hair in one pass using high-pressure airflow and no hot plates, and it automatically lowers airflow when no hair is between the arms. But on October 19 the price was about $499 with no markdown, which makes it the most expensive single-purpose tool in this guide. It also does one job, where the Airwrap and Supersonic do several. Unless Black Friday pulls it down toward the Supersonic Nural’s price, most people get more for their money elsewhere. The no-heat-damage claim also applies only in wet-to-dry mode, per the listing’s own caveat. Skip it at full price.
Pros- Wet-to-dry straightening in one step, per the listing
- No hot plates
- Sold by Amazon.com
Cons- About $500 with no markdown
- Does one job, while the Airwrap styles several ways
- Dyson’s no-heat-damage claim only covers wet-to-dry mode

WaitMarked down but no low-price badge, and it sits close to the newer V16. Wait for a deeper Black Friday cut.

SkipFull price at about $500 for a single-purpose tool. Skip unless Black Friday pulls it well below the Supersonic Nural.

Dyson V8 Cyclone
A current Dyson V-series stick vacuum at a 30-day low price from Amazon.com, for about $300. If you buy one Dyson before Black Friday, make it this one.
- 30-day low price badge
- Up to 60 minutes of run time
- Sold by Amazon.com
Quick tips before you buy
Every Dyson here was sold by Amazon.com when we checked. Search results for Dyson also show third-party sellers and renewed units. Look at “Sold by” before you buy, and skip renewed units if you want a full warranty.
Dyson sells look-alike models. V8 Cyclone, V15 Detect and V16 Piston Animal are different machines at very different prices. Compare the name in the title with the one you researched.
A crossed-out price is Dyson’s own list price. Look for a “low price” badge on the listing, since it tells you whether the price is also low compared with recent weeks.
The V8 Cyclone and V15 run up to 60 minutes and the V16 up to 70, per the listings. Those numbers are for low-power modes, so expect less on boost.
Quick answers
When do Black Friday Dyson deals start in 2026?+
Black Friday is Friday, November 27, 2026, and Cyber Monday is Monday, November 30. Amazon has not announced its 2026 sale dates (we checked October 19). In past years its Black Friday deals started about a week before Black Friday. If it repeats that, early Dyson deals could start around November 20. That is a guess, not an announcement.
Is Dyson on sale for Black Friday on Amazon?+
Some Dysons are already marked down. On October 19 the V8 Cyclone showed a 30-day low price and the V16 Piston Animal a 90-day low price, both from Amazon.com. The Airwrap i.d., Supersonic Nural and Airstrait showed no markdown, so they are the ones to wait on.
Will the Dyson Airwrap go on sale for Black Friday 2026?+
We cannot promise it. The Airwrap i.d. listing showed no markdown on October 19, and Dyson also sells a newer Airwrap Co-anda2x. A sale price is plausible, because big shopping events are when brands push hair tools, but nobody knows the number before the sale.
Are Dyson hair dryer deals worth waiting for on Black Friday?+
The Supersonic Nural listing showed no markdown on October 19, so waiting costs you little, unless you need a dryer now. If it stays at full price, look at the cheaper Supersonic Travel, which was listed at about $300 and is lighter.
Is the Dyson V8 a good Black Friday vacuum deal?+
It is the best Dyson deal we found. The V8 Cyclone listing showed a 30-day low price, about 25% under list, from Amazon.com. It has no laser or screen, but the listing says it runs up to 60 minutes and de-tangles hair. A deeper cut is possible, but we would not hold out for it.
Should I buy a Dyson V15 or V16 on Black Friday?+
On October 19 the V16 Piston Animal had a 90-day low badge, and the V15 Detect did not. The V15 was about 24% under list. Buy the V16 if you want the top Dyson and the price suits you. Wait on the V15 for a deeper cut, or buy the cheaper V8 Cyclone if you just need a good vacuum.
Are Black Friday Dyson deals real or inflated list prices?+
Some are real and some are not. A crossed-out list price is Dyson’s own number, so a big percent off does not prove a low price. Look for a “low price” badge on the listing, and compare similar Dysons, like the V15 and V16, before you decide.
